The way I make art is to have rambling thoughts going in and out of my mind. I don’t stay focused on one idea for long. I think that’s what I like about painting and collage. Images, like thoughts, come, then are covered by something else but everything is still there even if you can’t see it. I like to try different techniques, styles, media and subject matter. Often the work results in a narrative that I hope viewers can relate to.
